Russian forces launched one of their largest aerial assaults in recent months overnight, targeting multiple Ukrainian cities with a swarm of drones and missiles. Ukrainian officials confirmed that the industrial city of Kryvyi Rih, President Volodymyr Zelensky’s hometown, was among the hardest hit. The strike injured at least 15 people in Kryvyi Rih alone, including a 14-year-old boy. Cities including Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, and Odesa also came under heavy attack, causing widespread blackouts and damage to civilian infrastructure. Ukraine’s Air Force reported that Russia deployed nearly 400 drones, many of them Iranian-made Shaheds, along with at least one ballistic missile.
