In a thrilling conclusion to the 2025 Unity Cup, Nigeria emerged victorious over Jamaica, clinching the title after a 2-2 draw in regular time and a 5-4 win in the penalty shootout.

The match, held at Brentford's Gtech Community Stadium in London, saw early action with Nigeria's Moses Simon scoring in the 9th minute, assisted by Cyriel Dessers. Jamaica quickly responded, equalizing in the 12th minute through Kaheim Dixon, who was set up by Renaldo Cephas.

The second half continued with high intensity. Nigeria regained the lead in the 53rd minute when Samuel Chukwueze found the net, thanks to an assist from Nathan Tella. However, Jamaica leveled the score again in the 63rd minute with a goal from Jon Russell, once more assisted by Cephas.

With no further goals in regular time, the match proceeded to a penalty shootout. Both teams displayed composure, but it was Nigeria's Christantus Uche who secured the victory by converting the decisive penalty, resulting in a 5-4 shootout win for the Super Eagles.
